Welcome to NY Bernedoodles.
Hi my name is Jennifer , I was the first and am currently still the only breeder on Long Island of
beautiful Small Standard and Mini size Bernedoodles. I have been breeding these beautiful babies since 2016. I specialize in Tri color puppies ( in traditional, Merle and sable coloring). I am a small in home breeder. I am NOT a kennel breeder. I focus on quality and not quantity. We do not cage any of our dogs. All of our dogs and puppies are first and foremost part of our family. They are given constant love and attention from myself and my daughter ❤ which ensures every NYBernedoodle puppy will be kid friendly.

Size Does Matter


A Bernedoodle is a crossbreed dog involving a poodle and a Bernese mountain dog. The crossbreed is known for the hypoallergenic properties of its coat. They are extremely smart, loyal, and good in nature. They are considered a designer dog. Wikipedia
A medium Bernedoodle has all of the same wonderful attributes as a standard
Bernedoodle just in a more compact size. We use a small standard poodle instead of a normal standard poodle. We will also be breeding a bernedoodle to our poodle to create what is sometimes called a teddy bear bernedoodle.

Small Standard Bernedoodle – results from crossing a Small Standard Poodle (50lbs) with a Small Bernese Mountain Dog(70-80lbs) ; will generally be 50 lbs. and up, and around 23-29 inches at the shoulder. Most regular size standards are in the 80-100 lb. range.

Medium Bernedoodle – results from crossing a small Poodle with a f1 bernedoodle; will generally range from 50-65lbs. Making them a perfect fit for any size home or family.
